It’s Easy To Learn Backgammon!

For the regular readers of this blog, you would probably agree with my title. Indeed, backgammon is quite simple to learn and I saw evidence of this over the Christmas holidays. I gave my godson a backgammon set – something really simple as he is still a young boy of 10. I was actually thrilled to see his eyes light up when the set was revealed as he excitedly tore the wrapping paper off. He had never really played backgammon before so I took the time to teach him the basics of the game.

Within less than hour, he was able to play a very basic game with me. Within the same afternoon, he was able to teach his cousins and I saw them playing together with utmost concentration. Now tell me, if children aged around 10 can learn the basics of backgammon that easily, how much more can you?

There really is no excuse not to learn how to play backgammon these days. Perhaps 20 or even 10 years ago, yes, you might say that you did not have enough resources to learn about the game.
