Strategies, tips and stories about backgammon.

Of Aliens And Backgammon

What do aliens and backgammon have in common?  Ok, I’ll give you a couple of minutes to think that over and I am posing that question seriously, not as a joke…

…are you ready for this?  What they have in common is Robbie Williams.  Remember this name?  Anyone who has been exposed to pop music, especially the music of the 90s, would recognize this name.  Robbie Williams started off as a member of Take That and soon after took off on a solo career, which sold him countless of albums in the United Kingdom and beyond.

So what is he up to these days?  Hunting for aliens and playing backgammon, that’s what.  Don’t laugh just yet – Robbie Williams is dead serious about these two activities in his life.  In fact, he has been the focus of some UK newspapers, detailing his two passions.  He has even influenced certain people in his quests to find proof that extra-terrestrials exist AND to play the perfect backgammon game.

Enter Peter Andre…a former popstar.  This guy says of Robbie Williams:

“Robbie’s a great guy. We’ve already been texting about meeting up. I’m going to look for aliens and UFOs with him. I’m obsessed about them and gutted I’ve not seen one yet.  Afterwards we are going to play backgammon.”

Now I have never been a fan of Take That or Robbie Williams himself but anyone who likes to play backgammon couldn’t be all that bad, could he?  And you never know, there just might be life out there…
